Founded in 2012, Bright Light Yoga Project supports survivors of sexual violence in their quest for powerful, sustainable healing.
To heal a survivor of sexual violence, through yoga, creative arts therapy, and other trauma therapeutic practices. By doing so, BLYP will wholly restore the survivor’s confidence, efficacy, power, and control. Additionally, BLYP commits to eradicate victimization not only in spoken form but also in the spirit through education and advocacy.
Bright Light Yoga Project envisions a strong and powerful survivor who is connected to a community and is able to share their newly ignited light with the world.
